Hi Folks!

I recently started to do some sketches again, mainly when waiting for client feedback or renderings during my animation internship in London (and after work) :)
My ambition is stay subtle, try something new and to create believable pictures, not necessarily fully polished ones. Therefore you will find some areas which contain fotos, others are "raw paint", nevertheless I hope it works.
Now I would like to ask you for some feedback, which areas work, which areas not, what do you think about the composition etc!? I am going to post new images from time to time, thank you for helping me improving my work!

Cheers,
Paul

Hi! I took a picture during a little mountainbike tour in my home-valley in February at one of the most hazy days ever... I extended it and changed bits here and there and that is what I have ended up with so far. Your comments are very welcome!

Very nice! My only comment is that the background looks a bit painted, maybe some blur on the colour to get rid of the brush strokes but keep the hard edges on the mountain tops.

Cheers Dan

I tend to like the painterly feel; ok, it might not pass for a final matte, but for practice, its great.
Look forward to seeing your future posts.
