View Full Version : Projection Map Nurbs Eyeball

I applied an iris texture using projection mapping on the polar end of a nurbs sphere. the problem is the iris texture is repeating itself all over the nurbs sphere. lots of irises!

I tried modifying the 2d placement interactively, but couldn't get the damn thing to flatten out on the polar end of the sphere.

yes, I'm new at the texturing game.

any help would be appreciated!

make a texture with less iris and more white stuff. otherwise use a poly sphere and tweak its UV's. i'm guessing whats happening is that you are scaling the projection until it looks to be about the right size over your eyeball.. and then once the texture is used up in the projection covering all of the eyeball it can it just repeats itself around the rest of the eyeball... so more white of the eye would fix this problem.... i think..... hehe
