station75 06-06-2003, 08:24 PM hello
i've 3 question to You :)
1) is possible to make an object to be emmiter of particles (not square or circle but f.e. otto model?
2) is possible to make an object to be gravity node? (not square or circle but f.e. meg model?
3) is possible to animate sla shaders in time? f.e. cheen parameters?
thx.

yes
yes I think so
hell no
I don't really have time to go into much detail and all that (eyekyu knows why).
however SLA is not compatible with TP.

hmmmm so you want to have the uhm male model emit something that collects or attracts to the uhm female model. I really don't want to know what kind of animation you are doing.

:( Kaiskai...
i just want to simulate PBulrp effect to gain more control over the particles in this effects :)
f.e. i want to 'transfer' one object to another with particles (these particles move on the trajectory that i've made) and the shape of these particles are that i've model... (maybe i can use the scene of http://www.bonkers.de - align particles with the spline...)
i know that with PBulrp i can change the shape of partices, and change the way (with values of parameters of PBulrp) but the effects i need required setting the 'Single faces' and i never get what i want :) - maybe is my fault ....
i'll still work on it.
ps. i must to animate (not morph) a model of cell phone that is 'transfer' to logo of my client with particles, and i still get strange effects...
Hi,
try using PFragment. With it you can break any polygon object apart. You can replace the generated fragments with your own geometry. To attract the particles by another geometry you can use PSurfacePosition and PPositionFollow in combination.
Hope this helps
