View Full Version : Rendering shaded mode
Manta 06-06-2003, 05:23 PM Hi all,
I have a scene that looks better in shaded preview mode than after been rendered. The scene has a lot of particles and I want to get the preview quality in final render. How can I do it?

In the rendering options you can change quality to final. This should do the job.

When I change the Render options (final to shaded) in the camera properties I achieve the same result.
What I'm doing wrong?

Oops, yes, final to shaded, that's what I meant. Well I don't know what could be going wrong. What version are you using?

OK, I tried this and can't get it working in 10 or the latest 10.5 beta. It was working for one update or another but no joy for now. Render types seem to be the kind of thing that change from one update to the next. Maybe the next 10.5 will work in this respect. Good luck.

I'll be waiting for 10.5... :thumbsdow

John, it works rendering to a file. In screen render, only final quality is supported.
