Title: Hollibrook Elementary
Name: Ramy Hanna
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop

All,
I have continued to add to my Hollibrook renderings, and have also created some interior shots as well. I think the building from the inside tells you more about how it should feel than the exterior.

Again this was all modeled in Sketch-Up and rendered in Max 2009 Design, with some Photoshop post work for touch ups. Hope you like it!

This is an alternate entrance to the original one. It now has a wood deck ceiling.

Fantastic!

Sketch-Up?? I had no idea people use it to produce results like this. Always thought it was a free learning tool for architects. Guess I have a lot to learn! Have you tried Blender? And if so, how does it compare in your opinion?

I really like these renders. The post-pro gives it more of a cinematic feel, than the traditional architectural render. My favourite shots are the exterior ones. The sun glare effect is such eye candy!

What did the client think?

Keep up the good work!

This is fantastic work!

SketchUp is hugely underated as a modelling tool... hopefully your work will make people realise how good it really is!

I am a huge fan of this piece of work! Well Done!

....have you tried the Vray renderer plugin for SketchUp? You can get some great results, without exporting to Max, also the material editor is very good! - If you haven't already, I would reccomend that you give it a try!

Hope to see more SketchUp work from you soon!

Very realistic. I love the lighting and the textures. The architecture isn't usually what I'd dig, but the execution is perfect. My only small crit would be that the bricks inside the building look a little flat. I never saw your refs though, so I don't know what the material looks like exactly.

5* from me.

Thanks guys for all of the supporting comments! I hope to add to these, as I'm currently changing some of the elements in these renderings...stay tuned.
