Hi all

Just wanted to ask a quick noob question. I am working on a few shots in 16:9 aspect ratio, but i want to crop to 2.35 when im done. What is the best way to do this in AE? In shake there are preset letterboxes at different aspect ratios, but i cant see anything like this in AE.

There are letterboxing plugins in Magic Bullet, Tinderbox and other suites, but why not simply add a solid with a properly sized mask?

Thanks for the reply Mylenium. Ill have a look at the plugins you mentioned, but for now ill go with the solid instead. Just wondered if i had missed something obvious inside AE, so thanks for the help!
