This is my model of Eddie Lawson's 1991 Cagiva C591 500cc Grand Prix bike.
Modelled entirely from photographs (and the front disc diameter) i am reasonably happy that i got pretty close to the actual bike.
The only part not modelled was the engine due to lack of reference material, everything else from wiring/cables to lockwire on the bolts was done as accurately as i could manage.

modelled in 3D Max,, rendered using Mental Ray, and textured/composited with Photoshop.

Really great piece. Well done! I'm glad you were able to keep it as close to specs as you could.

Haha! Glad to hear. I do what I can.

I'm just about to get into actual 3D animation in school , so I am trying hard to just stay updated on everything that's going on and where others are at.

This is really nice work Simon.

Modelling, textures and integration with the background photo are excellent.

thanks Kevin, this is what's kept me out of trouble these last few weeks ..

got one other "old" project to finish off, and 2 new ones in the early stages ..
