that mecha looks sick. aw man love the modeling. the texturing and lighting are great. would be nice if the game looked like that :)
i love the overall detail that was put into the cinematic. let me not forget the nice particle effects.

Very nice indeed.
Was the cinematic done by Ubisoft in-house or by another studio?

very very cool! I wish this is what would make it into a major motion picture. There is an element of realism that is just awesome, please more of this kind of stuff.

is it a guess just because of the news sender from hungary, or you have any other info about the cinematic?

I think Ubisoft is capable of doing such nice cinematics.
(except the walkcycle of the soldier at 00:56) i also like the cinematic. Really cool modeling!

That's a Japanese game, From Software developed it and probably made that cinematic in-house, Ubisoft is just the publisher. You guys should know... when it comes to humanoid mechs, the Japanese are the masters.

Yeah, that's a better guess.

Just watch all the other trailers still in Japanese, this cinematic is not exactly new, it's just cut differently with translation.

http://www.gametrailers.com/game/6044.html

One thing for sure, neither Ubisoft nor Digic made it.

too bad they (we're assuming the Japanese) opted for a washed out looking cinematic. The amount of detail and action is great, but the overall look leaves much to be desired. Add back some sat and it's good.

Yes, I am from Hungary. Moreover I used to work at Digic Pictures and I think it isn't from them.

The amount of work that the creators put into the modeling/texturing seems beyond the usual "hire for work" game cinematic quality.

Congrats to the creators!

This is how modern cinematics should looks!
Effects and texturing are my favourites here. Lighting is also top notch, some scenes looks like they are comped with real footage.
Awesome work guys.

That reminded me of Omega Boost. Big anime robots doing their thang is always welcome in my house.:bounce:

I liked the style and design. Pretty damned awesome. I did feel like the fight scene could have been a lil crazier before they ended it. Felt a lil shorter then i'd hoped. But good job nonetheless

Wow, great execution and I really got a sense of the massive scale and weight of the robots. It was surreal to see something so large flying over the landscape. Great job all around. Thanks.

Impressive trailer for sure - then again, maybe I'm just getting old or something, but I literally laughed out loud at least twice at the whole idea of fitting something like this with a twenty foot long assault rifle and then make it "strike the pose" whilst flying. Hilarious. Although I'm not sure that was the intention...

Indeed . I saw this version 2 months ago , and Its way better .
The new audio is not good , and they removed some of the cool audio effects .
And I am still looking for any info of the studio who made it .

the CG was made by this Japanese studio called Shirugumi Inc. the same studio who made the onimusha 3 CG intro.

According to the Siggraph 2004 Electronic Theater page ( http://www.siggraph.org/s2004/conference/caf/et.php ) the Onimusha 3 intro was made by Robot Inc.

Did they change their name?

ow no no... robot inc. was the company that deals with capcom to do the CG for them but the studio that made the CG was named Shirogumi Inc. well you can see them in the ending credits if you finished the game :D

sorry i misspelled "Shirogumi" not "Shirugumi"

I see, thanks for the explanation. Searching "Shirogumi" I found a lot of their previous works on youtube. Great stuff.
