MetroCAF 2008
NYC METROPOLITAN AREA COLLEGE COMPUTER ANIMATION FESTIVAL [/font]
[font='Times New Roman','serif']S E P T E M B E R 2 5 , 2 0 0 8
MetroCAF 2008 is an annual, juried competition produced by NYC ACM SIGGRAPH.
It features the best student work from the NYC metropolitan region in the
areas of computer animation, visualization, and special effects. The
festival will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 7pm at FIT's
Haft Auditorium Building C (2nd Floor), W 27th Street (between 7th and 8th
Avenues).
This year's MetroCAF was juried by a panel of top animators/creatives in and
around New York City including Todd Akita, Psyop; Mark Corotan, Curious
Pictures; Susie Jang, UVPHACTORY; Deborah Krikun, Westchester Community
College; Gong Myung Lee, Charlex; Scott Sindorf, UVPHACTORY; and Andy
Walker, Framestore.
32 pieces were selected for MetroCAF 2008. We are pleased to announce the
following selected animations to be featured in this year's festival:
