Hey everyone, hope you like :D

Clink is a narrative and technical experiment in 3D-Animation created by myself and Justin Rogers. The film is based on a robot that comes to life and discovers himself. When a human element is introduced, he discovers he is not what he initially believes himself to be. Justin and I collaboratively wrote the script and rendered the project in a 25 Computer G5 lab, thanks to the University of Maine. Individually, Justin built and designed the Audio / Sound Effects, Dynamics, Character Rigging and Movement, and I handled the Character / Scene Creation, Comic Storyboard, Modeling / Hand-Painted Textures, and Lighting. The animation can be viewed in my portfolio.

Hey thanks LukeZ :D

I had a real problem making the eyes. They are just spotlights with fog enabled to make the cones visible. You can watch the animation in my cgs portfolio or on youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBTxzHDpJ8I. I didnt feel the animation was gallery worthy though. Anyway, youll notice when he moves the spotlight eyes do weird things due to the camera focal point...any suggestions on how I could of done this better would be awesome!

I think you should have used a little more light. I watched your clip on youtube, but it's hard to make out anything except when it's moving. Would be nice to see your efforts a bit better :)
