Are you going to build just the one house? Way out in the desert?
And you can see my WIP by clicking on the link in my signiature... the "insadong" link.

yes and no
actually I would like to build the house and the lawn well if thats what you call it even in the desert lol
and the entrance and way in the back like where the mountains are maybe put the glows or relief of a city or something dunno yet
basically yeah its a house in the desert I know it dosent make sense but believe me there are houses where you cant think its possible for example
this is a real house i found on the haeuser.de website

OK then! My trust is now -firmly- in the palm of your hand. Be gentle with it, it's fragile.
Seriously though, good luck. Can't wait to see this when finished.

ANOTHER QUESTION
the background is an envirement map
now if i want to make a movie
lets say a small cam movement
how would i go about locking the enviroment
so that it dosent follow the cam as it moves or zooms most likely

Quinn,
You'll have to make a background object... i recommend making a minimalistic geometry for the dunes, and putting a front projection of your backdrop texture on it.
