Hi all,
I have currently built a Ak900 Mobile phone in Maya (See first image), which has only been nominally textured as it needed to be exported to OBJ format for use by other production companies using other 3D Apps.

Anyhow, I still need to use it for a title sequence which needs the phone rendered out animating in a outline / blueprint style, looking similar to the end titles of iron man.

Now normally I would just chuck this model in to Lightwave and use the edge renderer properties for the object in layout, but thanks to the density of poly's in some parts of the model the edge / line is not consistent and so the lines are patchy or suffer from serration where the line looks jaggy and uneven (See second image).

So if there's anyone with some lightwave know how who has any suggestions I'd be interested to hear them, but more importantly, is there a way to do this in Maya without resorting to the rather unpredictable toon line shader which on the finer details tends to be happy to stick a blob of ink object on a line and leave it at that...
