Ok er first of all hi .
hope somebody cann help with the problem:
i started animating in max and here´s the thing
i got the bones ( imported from a HL 1 smd ) linked to a biped
and the additional "special" bones linked to some dummies for the sake of overviewing stuff
so i wanted to ask if its possible to assign a ragdoll or a reactor physic to the dummies or the bones .

The bones linked to dummies are cloth and hair animating bones so i would love to make them move according to the movement of the whole rig for the sake of saving work and some sort of simulation :P
but it need to keep the linking to the bones so it can be exported again

hope i somehow managed to explain that so you can understand it (bad english ftw >_< ) also hope that this is the right section to ask >_> and yeah thnx in advance ~LK~

it's rather simple, just setup the system so that bones are controlled by simulated objects.

for example. you want to make simulated hair. you take a box or a point object or anything that works for you, and make it swing around as if it was hair tips. then you take a bone you used to skin your hair to, and look-at constrain that bone to the simulated object. now a bone rotates pointing at the object when that one moves around.
