(edit: check out the bottom of the thread for more stuff :) )

Just finished this one, have two more to go :P
Saw the post for epic games looking for a texture artists and thought "what the heck". Might aswell give it a shot. The thing I like most about art test is that it gives you an idea of the kinda work that game artists do :D

lemme know what you think.

yup, it's all hand drawn in photoshop. The only thing that isn't mine is the normal map they provided for me to follow.

Nice,

but there is something that's not right. Maybe bricks are too small if that metal thing is door. Try to scale bricks to be bigger. And Doors are too dirty (rusty) and bricks too clean. Rust would be on the bricks that are close to doors.

all the best

Your right about the proportions. I'm not to sure about the rust being on the bricks thou. Rust tends to flow down from the object rusting, usually the direction of waterflow. I've put a bit under the buckles on the side of the door, that's really the only place I could see that it would happen. Although I should have made the bricks appear just as wheathered as the door thou :P

Anyway, Thought I should post the diffuse and bump maps just so ppl could get an idea of what's doing what :D

Also, here's the link to where you can download the normal maps epic games provided if you want to check them out.

Okay, here's the last one. I'll post the bump and diffuse in a bit. All that's left is to format the images and send them off to epic. Wish me luck :P
