I looked all through the manual, and couldn't find anything regarding OpenGL clipping, meaning: things up close get cut out. Is there a setting to change clipping distance?

Also, is it possible to change item display size like how big lights and cameras are in the viewports.

Thanks,

for clipping....are you talking in the othograpic/x/y/z views...because in these views you want to use the zoom function instead of the right click on the pan tool

other than that there are no clipping features that i have found

Nope, talking about from the camera view. The camera is flying through a building, and in openGL the parts closer to the camera get cut out/clipped. This does not occur in software mode.

Some 3D cards are worse than others for this.

That may be so, however there is a setting for this in various other applications that resolves the issue. In Lightwave you could simply tell the grid size/world size to be smaller and it would resolve it, in a sense.

Now the other issue, which is really quite annoying - the size of items, in particular lights and cameras in the viewport, seems to be unadjustable, and therefore if you're working with anything other than default scale, the size of these things can become extremely problematic.

Is there a setting to change the size of these?
