We just posted an article at sidefx.com outlining some new learning material from 3D Buzz. The latest include Fast Track for technical directors interested in learning production fundamentals and a Technical Rigging series which offers an indepth look at the rigging of a spider and a complex vehicle - including the use of python to build custom tools.

3D Buzz now has over 100 hours of Houdini 9 training available which is great news.

We also reorganized our Learning Material List (http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=122&Itemid=306) which shows all the Houdini material now available from companies like cmiVFX and Digital Tutors.

And of course all of this material can be used with the FREE Apprentice edition which can be downloaded from here (http://www.sidefx.com/apprentice/).

awesome! ill be looking into these once i get into that stage of Houdini. Still learning the basics and the power of the app!

Man, those look so awesome it hurts!

If it's anything like the Houdini for Technical Effects DVD, I'd buy this in a heartbeat!
And I will... when I can cough up the cash for these.
