i have been using deep paint 3d for a while,but getting annoyed with it. does anyone know of somethign that will do projection painting? i would like something that will paint on the edges of the uvs without getting that texture bump.

This is actually why Deep paint 3D is useful... you can paint by projection.. even on the seem of uv's...

maybe you didn't find this option.. maybe you didn't use it well.. maybe its not good enougt for your work.. but normally its doing the job!!

no i know that i have been using for almost a year now. im getting tired of exporting back to deep paint and having what i just did in photoshop getting screwed up. thats why im looking for soemthing different.

Maya also has projection paint mode in 3d paint tool.
