View Full Version : W.I.P. Toon Guard
GavinG 06-04-2003, 09:03 PM Hi all!
I want to start animating a little more and figured I'd try out XSI's toon shader while I was at it :buttrock:
Any comments or suggestions ? They are more than welcome

Hmm...it looks pretty funky. The lines are kind of all over the place. Isn't the point of a toon shader to make good 3d models to look like they were hand painted really well? I ask because that does not look like it was hand painted very well at all. It looks like I drew it, and that's not a compliment. :p
I suggest you keep working on the model. :)

Hey thanks for the reply,
The problem with it, as it was discussed on another forum, is that when creating the character I didn't have toon in mind (whcih was definetly a big mistake :) )
So, now I am redefing the shapes of the character so that will more appealing...or at least am trying to. The main one being how flat the face is...
