i know the focus is on the hulk (which is very nice btw) but the bg doesn't help. I think it would look fine with a solid bg as appose to this grainy jagged pic you're using.

Nice base texture on the pecs and skin. I would make the veins actually modeled, b/c the bump doesn't seem to be doing it. Or use displacements?

Why is the head so small??!?! It is much bigger in da movie. The head also need some tweaking to get it look more like the hulk...

with some modifications, like mentioned above, it's one of the best models I'v ever seen!

i like it, but there's something about the pants that's bothering me - it looks like there's seams running horizontally across the very bottom of his pants...

other than that - the face needs a little work - the bridge of the nose needs to me wider, for one, and maybe a squarer jaw (from the 3/4 view, the jaw disappears).

but very good, nonetheless.

Thanks cor the comments. I gathered the concepts from some comics for the body and used the new film for refrence for the head

in the second image it's obvious that the texture is mirrored.
look at the veins.

otherwise, awesome:)

Woow. I like it very much, but as majestic mentioned above - the texture shouldn't be mirrored. I really like the bump map of the skin! It's just wonderful... and his nipples looks like real! :applause:

Nice stuff...personally, I'd be more concerned about the total lack of a neck. Even in the comics, he had a neck. Good work though.

Yo Eddie,

So how's Cali treating you?

I like your model a lot, looks good. I think the texture/bump map is way too symmetrical through. The veins shouldn't be identical across the body, there should also be some variation in the pecs at the sternum, even the pro lifters they don't have '100% symmetry'.

Anyway, good work, let us know how you're doing out there.

Nice reel. I like the spawn model especially. Your Hulk looks great, The pecs and upper legs bother me a bit, but overall great stuff.

are you trying to go for the movie hulk or something of your own

i would be original

give him huge hands and bigger shoulders

hunch him over

make him more beast like

nice model :) but i think the neck is too short (read: nonexistent) even for the hulk..

Very nice, but it would've been better to see him with a snarl on his face, afterall this is a angry guy. He seems quite sedate to me.

Also the length of the upper thighs seems a little short in comparison to the lower leg, I think the proportion is off.

very nice :D

the only thing that stands out for me is there seems to be a loss in texture res where the veins are round the biceps...which is in starck contrast to the high detail and bump mapping of the chest

Very impressive model. I think your textures are coming along nice. They only crit I have that hasn't been stated is that you've brought Hulk to such a high level of realism that you shouldn't just mirror your texture map for they other half of his body. That jumped out at me very soon after looking at him. His veins wouldn't be in they exact same place on both arms. I don't think its necessary to make them anatomicaly correct, but just have a slight veriation on each side.

Again, great job man!

Thanks for all the comments. Hulk does need a bigger neck and ill work on the texture so its not so mirrored like.

The body is great. I agree about the pants, seem too chunky or bubbly. Love the textures.

Beautiful job man, he looks great! I only have two suggestions:
1. As others said, get a better background
2. The veins on his biceps looks too flat in the closeup, it's too easy to tell they're bump-mapped.
Other than that, this is very awesome!
