Sorry it's just not my thing. But out of curiosity are you doing a pencil test animation or cg?

Kiaran: I am doing a web animation in flash with ideas of turning the character into CG using 3-d Studio Max. I was just posting the concept unfinished drawing to get some CC, but thanks to your comment I am giving up. :annoyed:

That's pretty childish. The best reaction to any sort of criticism (constructive or otherwise) is to step back, take hold of your emotions, and look at the situation objectively. It's alot harder than "giving up", but it's worth the effort in the long run (based on my own observations of others who practice this behaviour;)).
As for your image, maybe try adding some detail to give him some character. Right now, he just looks like a run-of-the-mill, shirt-wearing fly.

No bad feelings, brother. The next time you post something though give a little background on what you are using it for, how its going to be animated etc... that way you will find that the critisisms you get will be much more constructive. Your first post simply displayed the character on its own with very little BG story. It looks like something I would doodle on a napkin at McDonalds as it is. Color it up and polish it a bit, then perhaps we can help you more.
Good luck, and I look forward to seeing what you do with this.
