This is a character from a oriental fantasy novel I'm working on.
Madam Twine is a wise and elegant demon, who assumes no shape in darkness and only appears in defined form under sunlight. She has hundreds of processes instead of legs, and they comes quite handy.
I wanted it to be as oriental as it could possibly be, so I did it in a simple traditional Chinese ink painting style.
