Title: Female Drow
Name: David Revoy
Country: France
Software: Blender, Painter, Photoshop

I experience on my free time a productive mix of 3D Blender simple 3D dummy with a strong paint over in the way of digital sketch. The 3D Dummy help me to build easier the pose and view angle , and the sketch to destroy the cold 3D.
I want to know your feeling about ;
- Do you feel the 3D Dummy under if you didn't know it ?
Thanks for your answers and other crits of course.

I cannot see the dummy at all, as you say. I think the sketch style you gave to the final draw is nice.
I love the contrast of the white hair and the background and the colors in general.
I just see a bit strange the pose of her left wrist, seeing that the moment is when she shots, would be nice to put a bit of tension on there, to feel more the strenght she's applying on that certain place.

But the other hand is perfect, the pose of the fingers, the light..

Nice work! I would use it as wallpaper :)

Thanks a lot Valkiria for your detailed comment. I'm happy the 3D dummy is enought invisible in the result cause usefull in my production pipeline.

Nice work! I would use it as wallpaper

Great work :applause:
Could you post the original picture with the dummy ?

Beau boulot. C'est dommage, j'imagine que ça sera publier sur une couverture de poche, elle aurait méritée d'être vu en plus grand pour voir tous les détails ^^

I setup the pose in Daz with the free victoria posing girl and export for blender via *.obj,
I import in Blender find my view angle and framing ; I place 2 or 3 item bad modeled to go faster in perspective. I don't make a rendering , just a screen copy from the viewport , resized bigly and blured to avoid aliasing.

After, it's painting : first black and white to set some value and after I play with colors.
That's all

Really nice! :) That is a good idea to use a dummy for posing. No, I didn't feel the 3D dummy. Thank you for showing how you created this image! My only crit would be that I think a different facial expression would be more fitting. To me, she looks almost sleepy. Perhaps a look of focus/intensity would be better? You might just need to tweak the eyes/eyebrows.
