View Full Version : why dont they reflect each other?

I'm a bit of a materials/rendering noob. I downloaded a simple reflective silver shader. though on applying it to this greeble cube, the extrusions dont seem to reflect one another. they only reflect other objects like the sphere.

can someone help my noob brain understand why? and also advise me on settings to make the extrusions reflect each other.

Open up the Attribute Editor and in the shape node tab, under the Render Stats rollout - make sure the Visible In Reflections is ticked and all the other ones.

This option usually turns off when importing .obj's.
