Sorry, it took so long for the sketch....but ive been rather busy. Ok...so the game is titled CIRCUS FREAKS. For those of you who don't know the Bozo Show, it was a childrens game show that was big back when I was a kid. This is sort of a Bozo gone bad idea.

Background story: My suspiscions have been confirmed...Clowns are evil. Ther is a parallel dimention that all clowns and circus folk are from. They have lived with us in relative harmony for many years now, but have become angered by the constant ridicule. Now they are getting back at the world. Setting is like a resident evil type atmosphere, ransacked and destroyed cities, yet no zombies, just maddened circus folk. There is one group that leads them...and there leader is Bozo.

The only one able to stop them is one little girl named Suzy. Suzy never has been afraid of Clowns, even when she saw them murder her family. Now shes out to stop them, and she's headed straight to the source...Bozo beware.

Yeah I know the story is pure cheeze...the stinky kind...but I needed something. It's not like I'm gonna make the game anyways...geez.:surprised

So anyways...Here are the freaks. The only ones drawn out are Bozo and the Ring Mistress. FatMan and LobsterKid arent done (and wont be modeled anyways).

I know it's your own story but since you aren't allowed to base your character on an existing game/movie I would choose a new name for your clown - so people can't complain

to the models: I think the clown (bozo) is the most evil clown leading the other bad clowns - am I right? Because of that he should look a bit more evil. he looks really small and weak compared to the "little girl".

and the "little girl" looks more like a hot chick than a little girl ;) but that's ok :D

IC4 - Your right...we'll call him Slappy the clown, so there's no confusion.

As for the "hot chick" thats the RingMistress...not the little girl...I'm still working on her concept.

RingMistress is one of the evil ones (even evil groups have to have a hot chick right?)

I thought Slappy should be bigger too at first, but I wanted to avoid the large overbearing foe. I wanted to go for the small creepier character. More sneeky and maniacal.

I like it Digital Rhino.............I think you have co-op options with this side kick idea as well.

I think the clown should be made small,toonish,exxagerated in a toon kind of way.I can see some wild but vivid,vibrant texture possibilities with this too.

I think this has all kinds of possibilities and potential.It's a good start/concept/story,I think you can pull offf a very good and interesting creation here with this.I'll follow up on your progress,it should be fun.:thumbsup: :beer:

But I have been working un-officially from the beginning, I will decide in a couple days if I will enter officially,only if I feel I can get all I have planned finished,I get very ambitious,which is good and bad, only bad because sometimes deadlines become all too much of a problem with larger than life creations.:)

But perhaps if I cannot see a finished product by deadline I can create a side-kick to go with your cast of characters,we shall see. Anyways thanks for the invite,it's sounds mighty tempting.:beer:

Thanks IC....I've done a lot more of him, but stupid me left it at work, and I dont go back till Monday. So it will be a while until the next update.:shrug:

Good modeling, but he doesn't look too frightening or evil or anything. Maybe you should go for more of a traditional "white-face" clown, like Pennywise (http://www.thefleshfarm.com/itpennywise.jpg) from IT. Those clowns scare me to death. Just looking for a picture of him was hard.

K...here's the latest. Just got back to work thias morning, so I didnt get a chance to work of this at all over the weekend. This is where I stood as of Thursday. More updates to follow. Please crit guys...I need the input.:D

Ok ok...evidently, by the lack of response, my first attempt wasnt going in the right direction. So here's the sketch for the new Slappy the Clown. A little creepier, a little more detail to model. I started to clean it up in photoshop, but i got bored. I just want to start modeling. So let me know....please....if this is a better direction to take him.:)
