help to create a file (*.txt)

afaik, in flash MX the ability to create files has been removed (in flash 5 there were some semi ropey fscommands that could do it).

there are flash addons that will do it i think, but cant remember off the top of my head which ones.

what do you need to be able to store on the client pc? is it not something that you could use a stored object for?

you should take a look at sharedObjects, perhaps that might help you
