the sun is pure trash... only equaled by the mirror for total idiocy. on the other hand in their favour, between them they do actually break more "real" news stories than any other news sources, even if the reportage is vapid. and they make for good light entertainment on the tube in the morning once you've read your equally empty metro (well provided someone's left a copy of the sun or mirror on the tube that is).

Anyhow, i'm now free of all of that, no longer freelancing the london area, but the san francisco area instead... and here we have some of the worlds worst papers... i mean, they're tabloids, but they don't have the imagination of the sun or mirror, or sport, they're not so witty if you can imagine such a thing. in fact they're downright awful. Very preachy, totally opinionated, and so PC as to be unbearable. It's like reading college manifestos...
