This is my first creation using 3D Total's Texture CDs (http://www.3dtotal.com/services/cds_new/intro.asp)..
Also my first time posting my work - heh, so not too heavy on the criticism. :D

http://webpages.charter.net/moze/bowl%20v3.1.7.jpg

All the textures used are from the CDs with the exception of the glass, hose, and the drainage pipe thing.
Areas to be worked on:
-Grass/Weeds - texturing and placement.
-Geometry of the metal part on the hoe.
-Minor tweaking to the glass material.
-Supersampling on the hose material.
-Possible tweaking of the DOF parameters.

Any suggestions/opinions or whatever would be very appreciated.
:)

OOOUH MAN

i know this is your first post, but i think someone should help you out with your textures. it's not just about taking textures from a cd and putting them on an object.

the thing is you have TOO many details on one hand, and alot of blurry things on the other. Just go out in your garden and carefully look at the real world textures and so.

try reducing the bump on all your textures, and try reducing the size of the stones too. And always keep in mind that you need alot of tiny details to make it look real, but not too much also ;)

hope that can help you out

:surprised
