View Full Version : using goalPP to transition smoothly from one goal to another
gmask 09-05-2008, 12:28 AM Whenever I have tried to do this it is very difficult to control the smoothness of the particel moving from one goal to the other. There is a fine balance between the goal smoothness and the goal weight where it sort of works but the bias is always in the upper .9's before it even wants to head towards the other goal and then with smoothness you get a ping ponging when it does get there. In my mind if the goalPP for two goals i set to .55 it should hover somewhere inbetween the two goals like it does when you aren't using goalPP values.
Any suggestions or tips?

Well I haven't played with Goal Values in a long time. But you might want to also mess with
the conserve of the particles. First try a conserve of 0 and then slowly move it up, I would stay away for 1 unless you want a springy kind of effect as it reaches the goal.
