Right, here goes.
I want to create a navigation that can be put in an html file that will be used as my background on the desktop. but what i want to do is create buttons and such on it to link to folders on the computer. i want it to be a little like the navigation bar on the matrix website. the funny thing is i havent a clue how to create flash designs as i have not long got into flash and got hold of flash mx. please can some one help me

this should be some what easy to do. You should first start out with learning the basics such as creating buttons and such.

The links to your files will be nothing more than local URL's. Since this will be local you might need to put into 8.3 (dos) naming format.

example: Program Files = Progra~1
