View Full Version : Seascape Reflection Material
visualasylum 06-04-2003, 03:01 AM I'm wondering what's the best material composition to use for the Seascape
plugin?
Would it be a composite material between Falloff(fresnal) and raytraced? or
a raytraced material inside the falloff plugged into the reflection slot?
Anyone could give me a little advice here?
thanks in advance.

I'd go with the second option - RT inside a falloff in the reflection slot.

Cool thanks mate. I remember someone saying VRAY speeds up rendering time compared to default scanline renderer, I'm wondering if it will help rendering with seascape?
thanks mate.

Well, I don't know about vRay but finalRender is certainly faster than the standard RT for reflections/refractions. So, I guess vRay will also be faster than scanline.
