Hey, i have a problem.
anyone know the tool in max called "PathDeform"? i want to do this same function in maya.

i want to make just like this making of http://www.suurland.com/gallery_stills_newbeetle_tire.htm (but in maya of corse)

i want to deform a box (for exemple) in a curve. i find in maya the Animate to Patch, but this function don't deform de object...

i need this tip :-)

maya's bend deformer (under the animation menu set I believe) does this, but it doesnt measure in units of degree's (thus why it may not be the best idea)... but maybe you looking for a wire deformer (deforming along a curve) which would also be in the animation menu set or maybe the dynamics menu set.

the nurbs tools can come in handy at times aswell when using polygons as the output mesh

loft, extrude along path, revolve, etc.
