Is Softimage going to sjip us the physical shipment?

I upgraded from Foundation 4 to XSI 7 last month. I got 6.5 with hard lock.
Is Softimage going to ship me XSI 7 dics? or do I need to download from Softimage web sign?

Hi there - please contact licensing@softimage.com with details of your purchase. They will tell you how to get hold of your license. You can download the software from here (http://www.softimage.com/downloads/XSI_Essentials/default.aspx). Please be patient, we are dealing with a lot of licensing requests at the moment so you may have to wait a day or two before you get a response.

I would just go ahead and download it. There is need to wait.

I am sure there will be a point release in the near future to fix bugs they found after releas of 7.0, so you're going to be downloading then anyway.

Upgrades are download only.
New purchases get a box (unless you choose the download-only option).

Foundation to 6.5 upgrades were a special case, because 6.5 used a dongle, so a dongle had to be shipped. To get 7.0, you will have to download it.
