Howdy. I noticed in the newly released Animation Mentor showcase video that one particular animation (the second one, with the cowboy with the rifle) had some nice smear 'drawings', which is the first time I've seen this is 3D Animation.

Anyone know how it was done?

I've not seen the animation, or know how it's done in that animation either. For me though, I chuck in a wire deformer to get smear frames for cartoony stuff.

yeah thats a realy cool clip, pretty sure hes just duplicated the object at the desired frames and unparented it from the hierarchy
