Me questions:
How do you take multiple vertex and snaps and align to another vertex? It seems when I use the snap tool, it doesn't follow highlighted direction of move tool. I just want to select a whole bunch of vertex and have them all move (only in Z) and snap to another vertex. But everytime I select multiple verticex and try to snap to another vertex it goes all over the place.
Im from a Maya background and Max smooth tool is alien to me. How do I tack an edge and make it hard while edges around it remains soft?
I also remember 3D max uses a lot of shader ID (I believe when objects are combined, bad ID overwrite other shaders), is giving shader unique name good enough?
Thanks in Advance!
