CGTalk - wait on a key stroke?

is there a way to make a script pause and wait for a key stroke from the user. The UI script contextes are confusing althought they seem to wait for an enter key. Anyone have an example of this?

Only way I could see doing it would be to use a script job. MEL just doesn't give you a good way to do this, currently.
