To all German-speaking folks here:

Starting on Monday Sept 1st, I will be holding a free, online Workshop: Menschliche Anatomie at

|[ pixelplausch.de ]| - Das deutsche Forum für Computergrafik und digitale Kunst (http://www.pixelplausch.de/)

During the course of this multi-part workshop we will explore the human physique & structure in depth from the skeletal set-up up to the superficial muscles in relevance to challenges faced by digital artists involved in character creation etc.

The end result will be a full ecorche', which can then be posed and used for portfolio purposes and so forth.

All this is done in small chunks of assignments, which should fit into almost any schedule.

For details, please visit: Workshop: Menschliche Anatomie (http://www.pixelplausch.de/workshop-menschliche-anatomie/2146-teil-1-das-skelett.html)

So if you speak German and have an interest in establishing and/or improving your
anatomical knowledge of the human form: Schau mal vorbei und mach mit!

Prost! http://www.pixelplausch.de/images/smilies/prosit.gif (http://www.pixelplausch.de/images/smilies/prosit.gif)

PS: Shameless plug, I know. ;)

Um and if you don't speak german but can handle the Babel Fish translation
can you follow along? Looks pretty smart btw :)

Spin99: Thanks a lot for your interest. I'll talk to the forum owner about that again and get back to you. The official policy thus far is, that you have to be able to communicate in German in the workshop thread to participate.

Cheers!

Thanks TheRazorsEdge you're right you're only allowed to post in this forum in English as well. Just really nice idea to do an open ecorché thread like that. Maybe I'll follow from the distance. Sorry not meaning to spam on this public announcement thread :/

Next time if you could not spam every single app forum, including those you don't frequent, with a piece of news that really is advertisement and self promotion, it would be greatly appreciated.
Crossposting is as rude as it gets by netiquette standards, when it's for personal interest and hardly contextual to the target of the crosspost it borders spam.

Spin99: I talked to the forum owner, any language other than German is a definite no. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'd be glad to hold the same workshop at some point in an international forum willing to provide a platform and accept my concept.

You are of course welcome to follow along on your own. If you do, let me know what results you arrive at! ;)

Cheers!

ThE_JacO: I agree and apologize. I got a little too carried away, trying to reach as many German speakers across applications as possible. Maybe you'll look at this incident in a more understanding way, knowing that I am not monetarily benefiting from this workshop in even the slightest way. Regardless, it wont happen again! :)

Okayhere' s mein erster Test. How' s dieses Babelfish Übersetzungshandeln? I don' t denken it' ll ist genug gut, damit ich so möglicherweise huh I' verbinde; ll folgen allein und versprechen, die Resultate einmal zu zeigen. Prost!

Ok here's my first test. How's this Babel Fish translation doing? I don't think it'll be good enough for me to join huh
So maybe I'll follow on my own and promise to show the results sometime.

Cheers!

It's very garbled and contorted. Personally, I dont think it'll work very well for you. Sorry!:hmm:

Looking forward to hearing from you, should you follow along on your own.
