View Full Version : keys converted and animation goes mad...

Hi guys and girls,

i have just done a first pass on an animation test in Maya. I used stepped keys using the pose to pose method and it looks good there. But as soon as I change me keys...my character goes all crazy...it seems it does not make the inbetween frames properly...do I have to go in and adjust all the frames...or is there another way to solve this....!

You can adjust the interpolation of the keyframes in the Graph Editor. In your case maybe you should more inbetweens. So the animation detail is kept.

if you are changing to Euler interp you sometimes (read always) have to perform an Euler filter - located in the graph editor>curves>Euler filter.

Select the three rotation curves and perform this function.
