Title: Moonlight Deadly Shadow
Name: Cedric Syllebranque
Country: France
Software: Photoshop, Vue

This image is a test of Vue6 infinite. I used MakeHuman to model and pose the character. I wanted a smooth and silent mood... The moon texture is added post-production.

This image is a little confusing...i have two questions :)
1. i am guessing that the lines connected to his hands are ropes...if they are then why do they end in the middle of the air? I guess cropping would be a good idea in that case.
If they are some sticks that he's holding then they are confusingly long and thin and seem like ropes.
2. what is that funky texture on the sky? a copyright stamp?

I have two suggestions also. :)
1. go easy on displaying logos and text on your work, there is no need for stamping a title and a date on your render since your post contains them anyway. and most of all it's very confusing and won't really let the viewer concentrate on the image.
2. also your image is a little too small and thumbnailish(excuse my english)

cheers :)

I bet that funny thing on the sky means he's working with the PLE version. This renders out images with the logo all over it (and disables saving, if I am not wrong). Fact that is not visible in the black parts might be an indication that it has been posted out there. no?

And is the composit started from a screenshot of the render?

Hi.

These are indeed sticks and not ropes. It's crossing in it's back. He is jumping and preparing a nice heavy slash but... silently. I agree it's a bit confusing.

The texture is indeed the Vue6 infinite PLE stamp. It is all over the render. However, as I have a full contrast image, i used the alpha pass to erase it on the foreground. But this PLE version has full version features like saving or so. The only limitation is those stamps for large renders.

Logos and text are used for other forums. I will make 2 versions in the future.

Thank you for your interest.
