I love painting organic things and haven’t really done a lot of transportation stuff. So this was – as most of my work – an experiment. The design came along by playing with shapes of colour, and then refining what I found interesting. I am definitely partial to designs that have a mechanical quality to them, as I believe it makes them look more functional and powerful.
