hi all

i've been working on the jurrassic park game, modelling dinosaurs. hadn't started the t-rex, then i found this challenge and thought i might as well enter it, i gotto make it anyway. this also encourages me to get it finished for the deadline(which i'm sure the team will appreciate).

i realise other people are doing similar concepts but i hope its ok. i'm basing the entry on a merchendise model of the the t-rex and raptors fight at the end of the first film. and to set it apart from the others i may have a little something up my sleeve.

my aim is to make the t-rex as acurate to the film and stan winstons creation as possible.

hope u like the work
any crit is welcome.
thx

and finalising the low poly model in max, and adding basic colour

did abit of sculpting just to get the main details in place.

The details look nice! I'm not understanding the Midsection though. The rib definition seems to be heading in the wrong direction, and the underside seems to have some odd lumps.
Though this is just early detailing

Looks great though!

thx steven

yeah there are some odd bumps on the underside. they r there on the collectable but much less pronounced. the ribs r a bit odd but it's just early detailing, to get the main features in the right place. i'll smooth and refine them later.
