normally i am treated to some quite impressive sound effects on a
regular basis. 3 AM in the morning and 2 neighborhood cats are
hissing and snarling and making all those wonderful cat-fight sounds.
this goes on till about 6 AM in the morning.
then i hear one of them, that has a distinctive sounding bell, makes
its way along a back fence.
so what happens when i put out my best mono microphone and leave
it running all night long ?
NOTHING !
instant cat peace. my neighborhood has become a feline de-militarized
zone.
it's almost metaphysical. you know that old saying about 'herding cats'.
Jesus, come on, Cats, cooperate !!
i pray to the Cat Gods for some decent Cat sound effects.
