Still, good to see again even if it's in postage stamp form..11 2004 can't come soon enough :D

Anyone know who the actors are?
IMDb doesn't have any cast listings, but I'm sure I recognised his voice...
On the IMDb forum, someone has mentioned that his voice reminds them of John Goodman, but does anyone know actually who it is?

The animation on this is the absolutely amazing. Pixar really pays attention to details! Just some quick facts for those who dont know, last I heard is that the Invincibles is written and directed by Brad Bird who made The Iron Giant (which was an amazing movie in itself). The story is about a dysfunctional family .... only everyone in this family is a super hero.
I look forward to seeing it.

That's good news. I totally loved the Iron Giant. Too bad it didn't get the attention it deserved. Won't happen with this one, though, I guess.
The one thing that I found slightly distracting about the teaser: no original music - it's from the score of "You only live twice". Or did I just imagine this?
Cheers,
Marc

It is new music, it's just amazingly close to old school bond, I noticed that seeing it in the theater too..it's like only a few notes shy of being it..hopefully there'll be other differences :D
P.S. No offense to animation angel but I thought it was kinda funny talking about attention to detail and then calling it Invincibles :)

No offense taken Hypercube I must haven gotten the title mixed up. The film was originally called the Incredibles, then changed to the Invicibles and then changed back to the Incredibles. But at work at 7:30 am, animating with no coffee in sight I must of mixed them up.

Ah well..just being goofy.
P.S. That is so cool it's up officially..the 480 QT is infinitely nicer! Now I just want one at 1024 like they did for Reloaded :D

Of course, that's the one. I always get these two mixed up (maybe because both themes are featured in the *excellent* remix by Propellerheads).
Coming from Germany I thought we'd already get to watch this film on May 11th. Oh, well... I'll better start waiting then.

We've been trying to figure out who it is and we think it is John Ratzenberg. If you listen to the part where he says, "Maybe just a salad, and uh, yeah, ohh, some rice cakes", it sounds alot like him. Maybe he's put his time in and has finally gotten a lead role in a Pixar flick.

No, it's not John Ratzenberg or John Goodman. Although John Ratzenberg did the voice of the crowd of fishes in "Finding Nemo".

I was reading somewhere about an article about Pixar and Disney. With every Pixar hit, Disney has been doing pretty good with itself. Then there's the rumor that Pixar isn't happy with Disney because they didn't count sequels as an actual movie for Pixar's list of movies they had to do. I wish I had a link to that article, I'd post it up for everyone. Hmm.. maybe an interview with Lil-Dragon and the guys from Pixar? And just to get some good stuff about Nemo and Incredibles? :applause:
The trailer is hilarious! I'm going off to the theatres to watch Nemo right now anyways. I'm sure the movie's going to be awesome, Pixar made it! :-)

:insane: PPL , PLZ TELL ME THAT 11.5.2004 means may 11, 2004 and not november 5 , 2004.... because here in sweden we go after dd.mm.yyyy.
hypercube
06-04-2003, 11:05 PM
In the US it's dd.mm.yyyy, so unfortunately that does mean November 5, 2004.
Last they were talking about was with the staffing up, multiple directors, and overlapping productions, the goal was to release a movie approximately every 18 months, which isn't so bad..though since Cars is supposed to be slated for 2005, they may be stepping that up.
If we end up getting a pixar movie every year solidly, that ought to be awesome.

that's generally the rule for most teasers and early trailers. considering its about 18 months till this will be released chances are the score hasn't been written yet :)

Wow, hilarious trailer. I can't wait to see Finding Nemo, the lines have been too long with all the kids out of school now, I'm hoping to catch a matinee on sunday.
As to the voice of Mr. Increadible, could it be that guy how played "Puddy" on Seinfeld, Patrick Warburton ?
It really looks like it is going to be fantastic.
