alright, well, I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this, mainly because I'd just like to be able to look at the set-up of an N64 game. that and extract the models for fun! ;)

but I can't seem to find anything online that would extract the libraries into anything usefull...

anyone have something I may have missed?

again thats ".z64" and ".v64" those are the only N64 game formats, and of coarse ".blend" for blender files (like I needed to tell you that)

dont know something about converting rom files into 3d meshes... but,

there is a editor for SuperMario64 (for Windows and Macintosh) to edit the levels... i know... not what you searched for... but also useful ;)

If you need a mesh in blender, the best way (also to learn blender), is to model it on your own :wip:

There are 'magical' OpenGL capture programs. Run your N64 emulator and then capture the 3d the model on scene. I presume the capture program will then allow you to export to an intermediate format such as obj. Here you go http://ogle.eyebeamresearch.org/

hmm, seems like it would work, but I'll have to emulate it.. I'm running linux...
