Didnt get why the 2d is the same rules as the 3d? is it a mistake or they are same rules indeed?

Call it laziness :p, seriously it's pretty much the same thing when you think about it, but I'll make some minor refinements for it.

Just one question, where the answer will determine if I need answers to the others ;)

Can we have multiple entries as multiple threads?

If not, can we put multiple ideas or characters in one thread?

And, if there are multple ideas in one thread, do they have to be separated for voting, or just pick one?

Thanks, just confused ;)

Shafeek.

Shafeek - check out how I did it for the hapless hero challenge (linkie down there in my signature). That's how you have to do it, as the CGChallenge site will only allow you to upload one entry.

Hey Kirt, thanks for the reply. The only thing I'm wondering then, is do I have to pick just one of them to be judged? seeing as my ideas for game icons will be quite different.

Thanks again,
Shafeek.

No. I had 5 entries but I composited them together into one image to upload on the challenge site. The image uploaded can be reasonably large, so use that to your advantage.

This sounds like a really great competition... I can't wait to see what some of you come up with. Due to time restraints I'll have to do this in 2d. I can create a scene but how do we create a cinamatic feel in this medium? I'm assuming a great action shot that is smooth and high res. If you have any suggestions for what you would recommend to those doing the 2d challenge, I'd appreciate it.
