I really like these character designs. Very creepy. The rabbit ears suggest something cute a furry but these things are sickly and grotesque. Nice contrast there.

Would be great to see these things moving in a Tim Burton-esque, jerky, stop-motion sort of way.

I had a plan to animate them but since i´m not an animator or rigger guy it ended up with static characters and moving camera =P
For rendering i use photometric light.
the rendering is setup with two portal light ,bokeh , exposure photographic lens shader and of course FG.

Absolutely fantastic! I wouldn't like to share a dark room with them (unless they have a fetish for watching pocket tv's...they have some weakness, right? :D).

I must say, they look very real. Not just realistic, but actually real, as if you've modelled them by hand and taken photographs of them and put those photos online. Gotta love the blurring, too, adds to that effect. Definitely top marks.
