CGTalk - The Magic 12???

(Well well. I changed the subject so that everybody knows what I am talking about)

Hullo everybody.

I was reading the book "Inspired 3D Character Animation" and I came across a section regarding the "12 principles of animation". The author says that those principles are explained in the book The Illusion of Life.
I don't have the book so I have no idea of what the author is talking about. Does anybody mind giving me a little inside on those "12 principles of animation"?

Howdy. Depending on where you look the number of principles will vary slightly, but here's a site to start with.
