hello everyone.

first of all i want to tell scene Status.

i have three joint chain for leg and one FK/IK Switch.
1)Normal(to be bound with mesh)
2)Ik Joints(with Stretch)
3)Fk Joints

i have OrientConstraint the normal joints with ik and fk joints. & control Blending between with fk/ik switch. But the problem occurs when i move ik joints it Stretched properly but my normal joints does'nt Stretch.

hope you understand my problem. If you cant ask me i will try to explain it.

Here i have attached a screen shot fot that

please help me

waiting for Solution.

thanks.

Well as of now all you have between the IK Joints and the BIND joints is a relationship based on orientation. So if you need those BIND Joints to be able to carry that stretch data from the IK Joints than you need to build some sort of scaling relationship between them. You can use a scale constraint between the IK Joints and the FK Joints on the BIND joints the same way you created the orientConstraint. Just apply the switch attribute to affect the scale constraint weights as well.

thanks for ur reply.

if i scale constraint & orient constraint and then use fk/ik switch then u can see in screenshot (100percentIk.jpg and between fkik.jpg) what happen.

AND

if i point constraint and orient constraint them then u can see in screenshot(PointWithorient.jpg) what happen.

i have also uploaded a project file.I will be thankful to you if you can solve my problem.

Ask me if you have any problem understanding me.

find the screenshots and project file in uploaded zip file.

Thanks

Parent constraint OR point & orient constraint the bind joints to the IK and FK joints. You need to account for translation aswell as orientation.

You were using orient constraints only.

Hope this helps
