Hi can any one tell me whay mental ray just dissepeard from the render menu in Maya 5 ? i have tryed to reinstall maya but it did not work.... Any One help !

make sure its not turned off in the plugin manager

Are you talking about Mentel Ray in combination with Maya 4.5 or 5.0. Because if it is Maya 4.5 you are using, it could be that it is a license issue. Because it wasn't implemented in 4.5.

I have just talked to a frend of mine and he told me to delete the maya folder in Documents and Settings .......

and it worked :)

Maya have its preferences in there some how and wen you delete it maya have to recerate all settinges... dont forget to save your scenes !
