NickolasYounker 04-25-2002, 09:27 PM Is there a program which would take maya in the task manager and turn it into a windows service rather than as an exterior process..so maya.exe would be higher up on the cpu order..hense more mem and everything allocated to maya

if no other program is competing for the cpu on your machine then maya will get all power that's there - same should be true for memory
you can manually modify any's process priority by going to the task manager -> processes - right click on maya.exe and set priority to high
