Ummm... I don't have the newest version... You know, the one without a shade preview, but I do have the one right before that, and I can't seem to be able to export the map so I can actually make it a map in Photoshop. Anyone else have this problem?

It works in the 0.98.10 version.

Can you please describe the steps you took trying to do it?

Best regards.

I went to the UV Unwrap (Experimental) thing and the I mapped it and Unwrapped it. I then lined up the stuff and scaled it to my likeing, and then I right clicked to export it as an image (notice, this was the first time I had attempted UV mapping in that version, since I only got it about a week or so ago) and I didn't see the export option... I'm destraught... help me!

Don't panic!
You didn't see the export option because it isn't there anymore.
In this version the way to apply and use UVMapped textures is slightly different.

After you've arranged all your unrapped stuff as you like, like you did, just Quit UV mode and Save UV Coordinates and Texture.
Your texture and associated image will appear in the Outliner window and the image will be called diffuse.
Select it and right click it and choose export...
This is how you save your image to disk.

To get a pic into Wings and use it as a texture you will have to go to the menu: File | Import Image and the image will be available through the outliner window.
To use it you have to select it and drag & drop it into the AutoUV window.
Be aware that there are some constrains regarding this. I think the image must be square and a multiple of 256x256 pixels. Not absolutely shure so you better check it out.

I hope this helps.
:D

Best regards.
